Police in Kampala are investigating the death of Asadu Ssekiziyivu, a businessman in Kisenyi, Kampala whose body was found at Naggalabi, Buddo, in Wakiso District on Friday morning.
According to Luke Owoyesigyire Deputy Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, police are yet to determine how Ssekiziyivu a resident of Ndilo, Kisenyi-Mengo was killed in Buddo.
Owoyesigire says that the deceased’s family notified police about his disappearance but were also shocked when Nsangi police alerted Kampala Central Police Station –CPS that Ssekiziyivu’s body was found lying by the roadside.
The victim was found with a deep wound at the back of the head seems to have been hit with a blunt object and his killers tried to depict the crime as mob action by burning some parts of his body.
The deceased was a businessman and Boda Boda cyclist in Kisenyi. Police have launched a hunt for his killers. Police are yet to understand whether his motorcycle and other items could have been stolen by the killers.
Investigators will work with his relatives to reconstruct his last hours and probably understand what the motive of his killing could be.
