As efforts to ensure that residents abide by the lockdown directives by governments, news of arrests of people flouting these directives pop in now and then.

Now trending online are photos showing the moment a South African couple and about 50 guests were arrested by the Police in Enseleni, South Africa for holding wedding amid coronavirus.

According to reports, the incident took place at Enseleni, KwaZulu-Natal South Africa after the government of the country had asked all citizens to remain home to curb the spread of the Covid-19.

The wedding was on going when local authorities disrupted it and arrested everyone in attendance including the pastor who was officiating the matrimonial ceremony.

A post on Facebook that gave the report of the arrest alongside photos reads,

In other news, a Nigerian Couple identified as John Lawrence Ogwuche and Faith Nathaniel Odang, has wedded in their home over Coronavirus lock down.
