Gospel singer Pastor Wilson Bugembe recently confessed that he supports President Museveni but he also loves Kyadondo East legislator Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.
While appearing on the Nbs’s TV “Ku Katebe”, he said he supports President Museveni for his endless love and assistance he gives the Born Again churches. He also clarified that Bobi Wine is his good friend.
“I support Museveni because he has given us a lot of freedom as Born Again Christians . I actually reached a point when I was stuck because I loved Bobi Wine so much but I also supported Museveni. What I did was to tell Bobi Wine the truth that I love him but Museveni is my President. Bobi Wine understood my decision and I loved him more,” Bugembe said during the interview.
Bugembe also cautioned the government to allow the musicians to do what they love rather than taking them as politicians.
Early this year, Bugembe received backlash from the public after he withdrew from promoting a song, “Tuliyambala Engule” by Bobiwine.
