Reekado Banks stuck in Gabon, cries out

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, better known as Reekado Banks is currently stranded in another African country, Gabon, urging the federal government to open borders, so he can return home.

The 26-year-old musician can not return to his home country, Nigeria due to strict restrictions following the coronavirus pandemic.

Reekado posted a picture of himself on his verified Instagram page where he wrote;

”Smiling like everything is okay but deep down Gabon ti su mi(I am tired of Gabon). E ba mi shi border ejo (please open the border)”.

In other news, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has directed all its missions abroad to compile lists of willing nationals who wanted to come back home.

Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, disclosed that this was a sequel to requests by Nigerians stranded abroad in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
